It can be easy to slide into isolation, when we’re feeling down.
Especially when our suffering is not visible for others.
Sometimes we may think, that withdrawing ourself from social activities, is the only option to not feel the pain all the time.
But isolation and loneliness just increases our feeling of being alone in the world.
Making the (often difficult or exhausting) effort to connect with others is just the thing we may need, to start feeling better.
That moment, when you find out that your struggle is also someone else’s struggle, that you’re not alone,
and that others have been down the same road.
This is why group therapy
can be so powerful!
